Helping First-Time Homebuyers
Ashley understands that the ability to purchase a first home is a key step for millions of Americans in building intergenerational wealth and saving for retirement. That is why she supports legislation that would increase the amount that first-time homebuyers can withdraw penalty-free from a pension plan for a down payment from the current $10,000 to $50,000.
Mainstreet Tax Certainty Act
Ashley understands how critical certainty in the tax code is for small businesses in order for them to thrive. That is why she supports The Main Street Tax Certainty Act which makes permanent the tax deduction for qualified business income and substantially lowers the tax burden on small pass-through businesses.
Housing for the 21st Century
Ashley supports the Housing for the 21st Century Act because it modernizes federal housing policy to meet today’s affordability and supply challenges. This legislation strengthens programs that expand housing access, reduce costs, and help communities build for the future.
